The Glucosamine Settlement revolves around claims that the two firms named above made false statements on the labels of some of their joint health supplements.  Rexall Sundown Inc. and NBTY Inc deny any actions of wrong doing but have agreed to a settlement in which each household (who files a valid claim form) may receive up to $104 (payment of $8 per bottle of Covered Product purchased, up to a maximum of 13 bottles per household).  If there is money leftover in the settlement pie once the lawyers have been made it will be distributed to the class member for a maximum amount of $200 per household.

  • Customers who purchased certain supplements at a Vitamin Shoppe retail location may be in line for a free check thanks to a class action lawsuit filed under California False Advertising Laws
  • The class action lawsuit against Vitamin Shoppe alleges that the store made false claims on product labels about the ingredients in products
  • A fairness hearing in the Vitamin Shoppe class lawsuit will be held on November, 8, 2016. If the judge approves the settlement (and it’s expected he will), checks will be mailed out within two weeks of that approval date

Vitamin Shoppe denies that they did anything wrong, and claims that their product labels were wholly truthful, but has agreed to a settlement simply to avoid the cost and hassle of a court battle. Customers do not need to appear in person to be a part of the Vitamin Shoppe lawsuit, but will be represented by the legal firm of Rebecca Scheuerman. Anyone who chooses to participate and file a claim in the Vitamin Shoppe class action lawsuit will give up their right to sue Vitamin Shoppe an an individual. Customers who do nothing at all will not receive compensation from the class suit.

  • US residents who purchased certain LG front loading washer models (for home use only, not commercial) between the dates of January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2006, may be eligible to receive compensation thanks to a class action settlement

Customers must fill out an eligible claim form online to receive payment from LG’s class action mold lawsuit. By entering into this class action suit, customers do waive their right to sue LG an an individual related to this matter. This lawsuit alleges that certain LG washer models had a defect that caused mold problems and odors more than normal (LG denies these claims but has agreed to settle out of court)
