TikTok Star Kyle Thomas to Co-Host New BBC Nature Show

The United Kingdom’s most followed TikTok creator says he is thrilled to join the presenting team of a new year-round BBC nature program. Naturewatch premieres on Friday on BBC Two, bringing together established wildlife experts and digital media talent.

A Fresh Approach to British Wildlife

Produced by BBC Studios’ Natural History Unit, the series is filmed at a secret location just south of Bristol city centre and is designed to celebrate the best of British nature. Co-host Megan McCubbin stated that the presenting trio has already been distracted by the diverse wildlife surrounding their countryside studio, noting that the location offers plenty of brilliant wildlife and numerous stories to discuss.

Fellow presenter Chris Packham explained that the program will highlight the wildlife that viewers can expect to see and encounter while spending time outdoors. The show will also feature dedicated question-and-answer episodes where the audience can send in seasonal questions, photos, and videos for professional analysis.

Connecting with Younger Audiences

Influencer Kyle Thomas, who has gathered more than 33 million followers on TikTok through his animal-focused videos, hopes his involvement will help draw a younger demographic to the broadcaster. He stated that Naturewatch will serve as a dependable source of factual information during a time when artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly common across social media platforms.

Describing the experience as a shared learning journey, Thomas expressed immense enthusiasm and mentioned that he is already absorbing a great deal of knowledge. He added that the production aims to make nature accessible to everyone by encouraging viewers to submit their own video clips for the presenters to review.

The debut episode broadcasts on BBC Two at 19:30 GMT and will additionally be accessible for streaming via BBC Sounds and BBC iPlayer.
