Anker has announced a new indoor security camera built to monitor your yard, driveway, or front porch through a window rather than recording the interior of your home. The Anker Eufy Window Camera E10 follows a similar concept to the Wyze Window Cam released nearly a year ago. It mounts directly against a pane of glass using an included adhesive sticker to minimize glare and reflections, eliminating the need for outdoor weatherproofing.

Pricing and Video Resolution

The Eufy Window Camera E10 is priced at $79.99 and is available through Anker’s online store and Amazon, placing it at more than twice the cost of the $34.98 Wyze Window Cam. However, the E10 features notable upgrades, including a maximum resolution of 2.5K. It captures detailed video at 2,688 x 1,520 pixels running at 15 frames per second, surpassing the 1080p limitation of Wyze’s device.

Design and Field of View

The E10 provides a slightly wider and taller field of view than its competitor, offering 105 degrees horizontally and 57 degrees vertically. To support various placement options such as upstairs windows, users can manually adjust the camera angle up and down by 25 degrees via a wheel located on the back to correctly frame the desired surveillance area.

Additional Features and Power

Additional capabilities of the E10 consist of color night vision, AI-driven motion detection, and alerts capable of distinguishing among humans, animals, and vehicles. It also includes a microphone restricted to capturing louder sounds due to its window placement. Recordings can be saved locally on a microSD card with a capacity of up to 256GB or uploaded to the cloud through an optional subscription. Although Anker states that setup can be completed in under a minute, the device operates without a rechargeable battery, requiring users to manage and route a power cord.
