Apple’s latest second-generation AirTag is currently available at an all-time low price of $23, reflecting a $6 discount at both Amazon and Walmart.
Apple AirTag Features and Travel Perks
The second-generation AirTag stands out as the top Bluetooth tracker option for iPhone users, driven by Apple’s ultra-wideband chip that powers Precision Finding. This feature directs users to items using visual arrows, haptic vibrations, and audio cues. The updated tracker allows users to pick up directional signals from up to 50 percent farther than the previous version and extends the overall Bluetooth range, resulting in quicker connections and reliable performance across multiple floors. Users can also utilize directional tracking directly on an Apple Watch Series 9 or newer models without needing an iPhone.
Travelers benefit from additional features, including the ability to share a single tracker with up to five individuals. When luggage is misplaced, users can temporarily share the item’s precise location with partner airlines such as United and Delta to help staff locate and return the property. Powered by a standard CR2032 replaceable battery designed to last for over a year, the device eliminates the need for frequent charging between trips.
