Fox One to Track 2026 Midterms With New App Features

Fox has introduced a new interactive experience for Fox One app subscribers ahead of the 2026 midterm elections on Tuesday, November 3, designed to help users track nationwide news and results.

New Features and AI Integration

The updated interface aims to help users navigate hundreds of simultaneous House, Senate, gubernatorial, and local races. According to a statement reported by CNET, the platform is structured so that developments in one state can reframe outcomes elsewhere while prioritizing local ballot measures for viewers.

The rollout introduces a command center on the Fox One home screen featuring real-time widgets for voter polls, contest results, and Fox News “Election Insights” on key contests. Additionally, the app includes a curated election hub containing all of Fox’s election coverage, alongside a specialized “Elections Mode” for Ask Fox, the platform’s AI-powered chatbot, allowing users to ask election-related questions and receive live answers.

Customized Viewing Experience

Amit Dudakia, senior vice president and head of product at Fox Direct to Consumer, explained the motivation behind the design. “The results don’t arrive in order, and no two viewers are following the same set of races,” Dudakia said to CNET. “With Fox One, we’re keeping coverage from Fox News and Fox Stations at the center and building the context around it, so viewers aren’t toggling between a stream and a second screen to understand what just happened.”

The Fox One portfolio incorporates Fox News Channel, Fox Nation, Fox Sports, B1G, FS1, FS2, the Fox Network, and local Fox stations. The application is provided at no extra cost for existing cable and satellite TV subscribers, while stand-alone app subscriptions are priced at $20 per month. The new election experience officially launches on Election Day.
