Purchasing the 4K Blu-ray disc edition of KPop Demon Hunters serves as a practical choice for individuals who maintain a $26.99 Netflix Premium subscription primarily to stream the animated hit in 4K resolution. The disc now costs $24.99 at Barnes and Noble, down from its initial $49.95 price tag.
Availability and Retailer Pricing
While home delivery is currently unavailable from Barnes and Noble, shoppers can locate discounted copies at most physical retail locations through the website’s online reservation system for later pickup. Amazon previously matched the reduced rate earlier in the day before switching to a slightly higher price point.
Collector Edition Contents
The recently released Criterion Collection version of the movie features numerous extras within a specialized package. Buyers receive a 4K digital master that includes Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio support, alongside two standard 1080p Blu-rays designated for the movie itself and bonus materials. The extra features include a full-length animatic, a behind-the-scenes documentary, and lyric videos. Physical items such as collectible postcards and an essay written by Polygon alum Karen Han are also included in the set.
