Arctic Fox Announces Super Mouse With Built-In Touchscreen

Arctic Fox Technologies has revealed a novel multifunction computer mouse that replaces traditional side shortcut buttons with a built-in touchscreen located directly beneath the user’s hand. The unconventional peripheral functions as a trackpad, macro pad, and streaming controller, and can even act as a smartphone-sized keyboard replacement supporting swipe typing.

Pricing, Availability, and Design

The Super Mouse is currently listed for preorder via a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign at a discounted price of $199 for backers, with a planned retail price of $249. Delivery is tentatively scheduled to begin in February 2027. Unlike other hybrid devices, such as Turtle Beach’s Command Series MC7 which features a narrow 2.25-inch side display, the Super Mouse incorporates a central 3.1-inch 720 x 720 touchscreen positioned between standard mouse buttons, a scroll wheel, and two customizable hyper keys, despite its boxy ergonomics.

Touchscreen Capabilities and Features

The device utilizes its display primarily as a Control Panel capable of housing up to 16 shortcuts, macros, or application launchers. The screen adjusts contextually to display tools relevant to the active application, such as editing and playback controls for Adobe Premiere, while custom workflows can be configured through the Flow desktop application.

Additional functionalities include synchronized Google Calendar reminders, on-device local voice-to-text processing, support for multiple user profiles, focus timers, and productivity tracking. Furthermore, the mouse embeds a gyroscope to enable motion-based presentation control and video scrubbing.

Delivery of power relies entirely on a wired USB-C connection, as the Super Mouse omits an internal rechargeable battery and cannot operate wirelessly.
