Gamers preparing for the release of Grand Theft Auto VI later this month will need to clear significant storage space on their consoles. According to Rockstar Games, the upcoming title will require up to 212GB of hard drive space depending on the device.
Pre-load Schedule and Requirements
Rockstar announced that PlayStation 5 owners can begin pre-loading the game on Tuesday, November 10th at midnight local time. Meanwhile, players using Xbox Series X and S consoles will be able to start their pre-loads on November 10th at 12AM GMT. The developer advised users to ensure they have sufficient room to start the pre-load process promptly, and published a dedicated support page containing further details.
Launch Details and Pricing
This storage requirement confirms earlier rumors indicating the title would demand a massive footprint on console hard drives. Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled to launch on November 19th with a price tag of $79.99, and will be released exclusively as a digital download. Physical copies purchased in stores will contain only a download code inside the box.
