Bose’s popular $99 Noise Canceling Wired Earbuds are briefly back in stock following a rapid sellout at their launch. The product previously received a CNET Editors’ Choice award and drew significant interest online, including over 500,000 views on an Instagram unboxing video, leading to inventory shortages for the manufacturer.
Availability and Market Resurgence
Shoppers can currently purchase the black and dewdrop mint variants, although the white smoke color remains unavailable and shipping estimates are starting to stretch further out. This high demand aligns with a broader marketplace revival for wired headphones. Younger consumers are increasingly turning away from wireless models in favor of wired alternatives that eliminate the need for charging, provide simple USB-C plug-and-play connectivity, and generally come with lower price tags.
Features and Pricing
Priced at $99, the Bose earbuds cost more than standard USB-C options, which usually retail for $30 or less, such as Apple’s $19 USB-C EarPods. Even so, the Bose device stands out as the brand’s most budget-friendly earbud offering, delivering a high-end design, strong audio quality, functional noise cancellation, and solid performance for voice calls.
