Scotland Women’s Strong Start
Fay Henderson’s rink secured a 7-4 victory against Turkey on Wednesday, following a dominant 12-3 win over Denmark on Tuesday. In the match against Turkey, the Scottish women established an early two-point lead in the first end, fell behind by the third end, and then rallied to score three points. During their opening fixture against Denmark, the team claimed single points in the first two ends before the Danes reduced the deficit. The Scottish rink then seized control by building a five-point advantage by the end of the fourth end. Despite Denmark responding with two points in the fifth end, Scotland concluded the match decisively with six points in the sixth and final end.
