If you’ve recently rented a vehicle, you may receive a notice in the mail regarding some damages. When you turn your rented car in, it’s thoroughly inspected. If damage appears that wasn’t there before, this is what that notice is about. Oftentimes, there’s damage that you weren’t even aware of, so make sure you inspect the car when you receive it to compare. When you enter your personal information, you’ll see what the damages are and the total amount that you owe.
To start making a payment on your claim, you’ll need to select the rental car company you rented with. Choose from Alamo Rent A Car, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and National Car Rental. If you’re not sure which company it was, look at the top of the letter you receive and you should see the name listed. Once you’ve chosen your company, enter your claim number, billing number, and invoice number to start the payment process. After you’ve accurately entered that information, the total amount that you owe will be shown.
Your amount due can be paid with any major credit card, including Visa, Discover, or MasterCard. You can also pay by e-check. Your payment will process instantly, and will be applied to your account within 24 hours. If your payment is not applied within two days, contact your rental car company.
