  • Access the Volkswagen Credit’s “My Account” service online with a username
  • The service is free to use for all Volkswagen owners
  • Provides online payments tools, account management tools, paperless in voicing and the ability to update information in relation to a VW account

The VW Credit My Account service requires a valid email address at the time of sign up and those who are wishing to obtain information in regards to the proposed 2.0L TDI Settlement should go here.  When registering for a VW Credit My Account the customer will also have to provide their name along with their VW account number (this number will be 9 digits in length and located on the customers invoice under ‘Customer Information’).

www.avis.com/amexmr – Reserve Car With American Express Card

Avis AMEXMR

  • American Express Rewards Members customers can use their AmEx points to rent a car from Avis and pay nothing out of pocket
  • A maximum of 3 certificates may be applied to one Avis rental, a maximum value of $400
  • Renters under the age of 25 can rent an Avis car with American Express rewards points, but they may need to pay out of pocket insurance charges

To use Avis AMEXMR rewards points to rent a car from Avis, customers just need to check rates and availability first, then enter the date, time and location they’re looking to rent to see what vehicles are eligible and how much they’ll cost. Next, Avis renters just need to complete the “American Express Membership Rewards” redemption process to get their Avis rental certificate.

Avis AMEXMR Comments

  • When customers get this certificate number from American Express, they just enter their dates and times again (along with location), and finish the rental process
  • Customers who rent frequently from Avis may want to sign up for an “Avis Wizard” account, which saves their personal information, so it doesn’t need to be entered each time they rent

How to cancel an Avis reservation when it was paid for with AmEx points

To change or even cancel an existing Avis reservation that was made with American Express rewards points, customers will need to enter their last name and the confirmation number they received at the time of booking. Any Avis cancellation that is being made within 48 hours of car pickup time will need to be made over the phone. When the reservation is canceled by Avis, the points will be returned to the American Express rewards account within 5 business days.

www.mlinternsettlement.com – Merrill Lynch Intern Class Action Lawsuit

ML Intern Settlement

  • A recent class action lawsuit alleges that Merrill Lynch violated New York labor laws by not paying interns properly for hours they worked
  • Merrill Lynch denies that they violated any laws, and insists that they do not owe interns any wages, but to avoid the burden of a lengthy court case, they have agreed to settle this matter out of court
  • Interns who worked with Merrill Lynch will need to submit a valid claim in this class action lawsuit to be able to receive free compensation

Merrill Lynch is involved in a class action lawsuit over not paying their interns, and anyone who was an intern could be in line to get $500. All settlement members who file a valid claim (meaning they worked an unpaid internship with Merrill Lynch) can get $500 for each internship they worked (meaning either a semester or a quarter) Ordinary payroll tax deductions will be taken out of this settlement from Merrill Lynch.

ML Intern Settlement Comments

  • Interns can choose to opt out of this class action lawsuit against Merrill Lynch, but the only reason to do that would be if someone intends on suing Merrill Lynch on their own regarding this matter
  • Merrill Lynch interns who do nothing (don’t opt out but also don’t submit a claim) will lose their right to sue as an individual as well

When will the Merril Lynch class action lawsuit be decided?

Justice Denise Sher of the New York Supreme Court has not yet ruled in this matter, but it’s expected for the settlement to be approved. Judge Sher will rule on this case on August 29, 2016.
